A while back I was looking at the OBIA website and came across an article written by Nancy D. Schmidt, M.S. that I thought most of you dealing with personal injury law would be interested in. It deals with the true cost of head injury. I particularly like their perspective as it considers the true cost of the injury.
-
The cost of the loss experienced by the family and the person with the head injury, and
-
the cost of replacing what was lost.
The article then goes on to define the economics of the rehabilitation process.
I think you may find this analysis of real benefit if you are new to the subject of Brain Injury, and that it's a great resource for those wishing to better explain true costs to their clients.
