FSCO Mediation Delay Results in Many Claims Going to Small Claims Court

On Jan. 16 Justice Sloan found that FSCO was not in compliance with the “prescribed” time for mediation under s. 10 of Ontario Regulation 664. The time limit is 60 days from the date the application for the appointment of a mediator was filed.
