ABOUT LUTHERWOOD
Lutherwood is a not for profit organization that provides a wide range of mental health, employment development, housing, and family support services. Lutherwood annually serves more than 18,500 people in Waterloo Region and Wellington County.
MENTAL HEALTH
Lutherwood's Mental Health Services Department provides a range of services to assist children and families. We provide residential treatment and assessment services, family crisis and prevention counselling, community and school-based interventions and a youth shelter.
EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
The road to employment can be rough, but Lutherwood has the resources and experience to help you reach your employment destination. Our Employment Development Services division offers a range of programs that help individuals find and maintain their jobs, entrepreneurs launch their businesses and employers recruit and train employees.
HOUSING
Lutherwood's Housing Services consist of many programs that support you on your search to find permanent, safe and affordable housing. Whether you are part of a larger family, a senior, a youth, new to Canada or a person who has never had a place to call home, we can help you. Our Housing Services Department provides a range of programs to assist people with finding and maintaining housing. We also have programs to assist with loans for rental arrears and deposits, as well as service resolution, public education, training and information on housing. Lutherwood also operates Safe Haven Shelter - an emergency shelter for youth aged 12-15 years old, as well as a residence for seniors.
FAMILY SUPPORT
Lutherwood is a not-for-profit, health and social service organization that believes in the strength of the family. As a result, our caring and knowledgeable staff offer services to help families overcome shorter-term crises and longer-term struggles wherever possible. However, should a devastating family breakup occur, we can also help everyone move on.

FOUNDATION
Lutherwood Child and Family Foundation raises funds to support Lutherwood’s work in our community. Through the generosity of individuals, church congregations, service clubs, corporations and foundations, we have been able to strengthen the lives of many Lutherwood clients.
