Guelph Synchronized Swim Club Places at Synchro Ontario West Regionals Championships

On March 24 and 25, 2012, Synchro Ontario West Regional Championship were held at Elmira, Ontario. The Guelph Synchronized Swim Club sent two competitive teams, one developmental team, one solo and four duets to compete.
Guelph had an amazing showing. The 13-15 Competitive Team won bronze. This team is comprised of Rachel Rauser, Nicole Rauser, Jocelyn Begin, Katelyn Butts, Coral Meredith, Sarah Plant, Sophie Reimer and Madison Andrews. The 10&Under Competitive Team (Drew Trainor, Caroline Bendall, Noelle MacDonald, Taylor Varnai and Madison Solda) also won bronze. Madison Solda placed 2nd (silver medalist) in the 11-12 year old solo and Jocelyn Begin and Katelyn Butts placed 3rd (bronze medalists) and Sarah Plant and Coral Meredith placed 4th in the 13-15 year old duets.
The Guelph Synchronized Swim Club is very proud of all of their swimmers. They all did very well in their individual figures competition and had great routine swims.
